The raging transphobes really aren’t ok.

I’m genuinely losing count of how many transphobes end up here every time they encounter a woman who has views about trans people that they don’t approve of.

What do you do when definitions change? They often do.

I agree there are speakers at the Filia conference saying important things (as well as woo about natural remedies for menopause, get HRT it works. ) But the conference has nailed its colours to the mast of being "gender critical" Which is why it's being protested.

Filia claim to be representing all women but many women oppose their beliefs. They're entitled to hold them, and we're entitled to protest them. I haven't got the time or energy this weekend to be in Brighton physically but women have a right to say "not in my name".

So apparently the threat to women at the Filia event was from each at the disco, where an actual fight broke out, not the supposedly extremely dangerous trans activists outside..

The Filia row is what happens when "gender critical" becomes seen as synonymous with feminism. The simple fact is that movement is dominated by people who aren't feminists and tacking daily further to the (far) right..
