Scroll down to midway, where it discusses property. An excoriating assessment for the UK. Ban NIMBYish, abolish the Town and Country Planning Act and permit building wherever needed, subject to proportionate safety and visual reqs. Who has the spine? ukfoundations.co

If The Labour Party think increasing CGT won’t affect growth and entrepreneurship, they are wrong. In the founder groups I am in, it’s a topic that comes up almost daily. Why be based in the UK with higher CGT? May as well grow intl businesses elsewhere. Instead, tax land/property.

When video games incorporate LLM audio capability, so people can have dynamic conversations with NPCs through their gaming mics, it is going to be mindblowingly immersive and a step change for genres like RPGs and MMORPGs. It’ll feel like the ‘next generation’ of video games

Over £30 for a UK company confirmation statement filing is a rip-off. It used to be £13. It’s something that frankly shouldn’t even be charged for. Impacts local-run small businesses disproportionately.

Article about the day in the life of a train conductor. Wild that he publicly admits he strikes when he can. How can the UK overachieve, with mentalities like this publicly disclosed in our newspapers - laziness is acceptable? No wonder productivity is a national issue lol

Powerful personal piece on why unrealised gain taxes, wealth taxes and exit taxes are bad. Land taxes are another story though - abolish stamp duty and council tax and introduce one of those… thefp.com/p/why-i-left-n…

Bang on. Economically illiterate Labour backbenchers are scuppering any good contribution the government can make towards growing the economy and the country. And the Conservatives’ vice? Overprotecting pensioners. At some point it will end in tears. apple.news/ANe5HWevnQ2OfH…

To me the key issue with 996 (/similar) working is the lack of time for reading-to-learn. 996 puts someone into an educational niche - you can dominate that niche but, if you don’t win, you are like the athlete who gave up everything for the major leagues then didn’t make it.

I had a watershed moment happen to me yesterday. I was called a millennial as an age insult. We are only a few steps away from becoming the new boomer 😅
