Went on #BritanniaPier this morning as part of the NationalPiersSociety AGM weekend in #GreatYarmouth. The new owners are to be applauded for their investment and the new entrance was officially opened today. I'm hoping they keep the last bit of 1960s orange fascia but we'll see 🤞

I love HIPPODROME CIRCUS! Even if there's no show on you can still immerse yourself in #circus signage and ephemera in Cafe 1903 which celebrates the year the country's only surviving purpose-built circus building opened in #GreatYarmouth

Escaped the buzz of #greatyarmouth seafront yesterday afternoon for the calm of the restored Waterways, originally laid out 1926-28. Metal sculptures honour the labourers who dug the channels by hand as part of a job creation scheme. Nice new #beachhuts nearby too

Super lovely hosts for my weekend in #greatyarmouth, thank you Gary and Julie. Looking forward to going back to Kilbrannan GH for the wonderful welcome and delicious breakfasts - the best I've had in ages 😋
