I was at the PPG dinner the year then-PM Martin played this surprise howler at the end of his speech. Nearly fell off my chair. How did Mulroney feel about my profession? Lots to unpack about covering this man... alternatively, you could just watch this. youtube.com/watch?v=dw99U2…

I've known @Scottbrison for more than 20 years. He puts Canadians first, knows what it takes to grow our economy, and has devoted so much of his life to public service. Scott and Max, I’m honoured to be able to count on your support.

Oh please. I was there and Carney played a big role. Flaherty and Harper provided the political leadership that was key, but Carney was on deck with insight and smart monetary policy. Trying to erase that for partisan reasons is, well, beyond disgraceful, to match your hyperbole

Rt. Hon. Jean Chrétien has seen & shaped many of Canada’s big events.I benefited from his wisdom yesterday, as ⁦Mark Carney⁩ became leader of the ⁦Liberal Party⁩ & our PM.I’m inspired that even in today’s politics, that Cda can still provide world class leadership.
