Bull calves starting to shape up, took the chance whilst scanning yesterday to get weights on them. 1.5kg Dlwg average, 1.64kg and 1.51kg for the 2 pictured below.

Our senior stock bull Fordel Erling. He'll be 8yr old in a couple of months. Can't remember the last time he was inside. Hopefully his daughters will continue to be hassle free like he is. Also pictured below is his mum who's nearly 15 and back in calf again.

New home bred junior bull for this year's heifers. Scholland Efling A302. 2.5kg hard feed over winter and none since early April. Actual data 624kg, fat 4mm, sct 40cm, ema 106, imf 6.9%, dlwg since turnout in April 1.7kg/day.

Weaning starts on Tuesday so time for a few autumn pairs photos. Some nice calves around but time for them to get some nice grass and bales. We find the cows are much more content after weaning as well.
