The SC House voted to concur (120-0) in the Senate amendments to H. 3609, the Teacher Step Increase.  Governor McMaster has five days once it is ratified, excluding Sunday, to sign the bill or allow it to go into effect without his signature.

Today, we hand delivered letters to President Peeler and Speaker Lucas requesting that they call their chambers into session to suspend Proviso 1.108.    Suspending the prohibition on mask requirements enables school leaders to make decisions based on their local circumstances.
