I had to miss some school and softball to compete at the area level competition for HOSA on Friday. Today though, I came out in FIRST PLACE, and I’ll be heading to STATE this spring! Sophomore season in the books! In 27 games I broke the single-season walks record with 26. I was also awarded Defensive MVP, 1st Team All-District second base, and Academic All District. Today, I participated in the All-Academic Showcase Game. I went 3 for 3 with 2 singles and 1 double off the wall, plus 1 stolen base. Started out hot by going undefeated in pool play to advance from supplemental to the Sparkler power pool. Unfortunately, we fell short in bracket play. Great week at the Atlanta Legacy Showcase where Strykers National Williams-Yates-27 were the only undefeated team! Unfortunately rain altered our schedule and the team had to catch flights and we couldn't play our final game. Proud of the girls for going 8-0 this week!
