In a flash back to the golden era of streetfood, both Soi 1268 and O.P.M are at Herbert’s Yard. Yes, that is a side portion of panang sauce to go with the fries. Yes, I am both a genius and a very naughty boy. Yes that is a quadruple whisky. It’s Saturday.

After working weekends for the last five years, I am ~loving~ having Saturdays off. Met Laura Blake for coffee, grabbed lunch at AngelasBirmingham with Bite Your Brum (she/her) Ian McEwan, worked on my book, ran errands, and stopped by Soi 1268 for the special Thai New Year menu. Sublime! ✨

We are so lucky to have Soi 1268 restaurant in our city. Let alone they are part of Independent Birmingham Enoki Tempura, Just wow. Aubergine Nahm Dtok, mind blowing. Pad See Ew noodles, perfect. When you ask the staff to pick your dinner this is what I was given ❤️
