I love it when a plan comes together! These faces say it all. Five weeks of planning. Oral history sprinkled with some PE teaching. Lots of practising. A community that wants childhood to be happy. And this is what we ended up with... Royston Primary Strathclyde Institute of Education #REHope

We hopped, skipped and jumped as we learned about the games children used to play in Glasgow. Our teachers were the wee boys and girls who played those games in the past. They were patient and helped us develop our skills gradually. Royston Primary Strathclyde Institute of Education #ReHope

We threw and caught and rolled. We learned new games and new skills. We had to work on our hand-eye coordination and make sure our timing was good. We'll take our new games back to school to practise in the playground. Royston Primary Strathclyde Institute of Education #ReHope
