Biggest difficulty when contributing to open source. Writing comprehensive tests. It’s a lot of work, it is not fun and does not contribute value to my employer. It’s not something I want to do during my spare time and not something I can do during work time.

Buffer and TypedArray have huge memory (208 bytes per instance) and construction overhead... I end up with a (unsafe) hack for performance-sensitive code. gist.github.com/ronag/08263521…
