A majority of students raped, assaulted, or abused in college will experience significant drops in their grade point average. And survivors are more likely to drop out of school. Schools (& Betsy) should be doing everything in their power to stop sexual violence, not ignore it.

The current MI law surrounding criminal sexual conduct has language in the "mentally incapacitated" section that says the definition is met if the incapacitating substance was administered w/o consent. This bill would scratch that part so it doesn't matter; you can seek charges.

This is so huge! This decision makes clear that forcing women and girls to dress in ways that conform to sex stereotypes violates the law.
