Prunella Scales was a wonderful actress who brought her high intelligence to every part she played - from Sybil Fawlty to Elizabeth II. She was funny, intrepid, interesting, interested, challenging, huge fun. & blessed with a beautiful marriage. All this & the canal journeys too!

Prunella Scales has sadly passed away age 93, such a long varied career in TV/Film & theatre. But my favourite though will always be After Henry 😁 Why was she never made a Dame ? Reunited now with her beloved Timothy, I so enjoyed their Great Canal Journeys. #RIPPrunellaScales
