I have covered Mark Carney for years. Now he has his own electoral mandate (and has made history) - one of the best economists in the world. Perfectly suited to this fight. Calm. Charming. Deliberate and very clever. The US will regret this fight.

I love the comments that say Mark Carney doesn’t have a mandate: They said he didn’t have a mandate because he hadn’t fought an election. Now they’re saying the same thing after he won the election. Heads I win. tales you lose.
