Trump pressure to hike UK drug prices could cost NHS billions. Corporate profits will increase. NHS budget will buy less. People to pay higher taxes or face public service cuts. Govt must produce generic drugs Who governs UK - govt, Trump, corporations? independent.co.uk/news/health/nh…

Do you belly ache about people with disabilities receiving benefits more than you ever think about the truly enormous sums of money funnelled to incredibly wealthy corporations or the tax avoided or evaded by enormously wealthy individuals? Why is that?

"We are all accidents waiting to happen.." Please don't be too quick to think we should do away with, or cut benefits for Disabled people. Disability can happen to anyone, anytime. It's not just from birth. Be good for all of us to remember that.

Why don't we treat MP's expenses as benefits? Every year we could get a list of them and vote on who deserves to get them for the next year. We need to be tough on benefit fraud don't we?

People struggling with their mental health need social, financial, and psychological support (often physical support too). They do not need someone to try and force them into work, threatening with poverty, or tips on how to improve their CV from inside the GP surgery.

Our democracy has no integrity. That's why our parliamentarians are a joke. The past decade has proved that our First Past the Post system is failing us.

Labour are simply rehashing punitive Tory policies. I wrote this in 2016: Let’s keep the job centre out of GP surgeries & the DWP out of our confidential medical records politicsandinsights.org/2016/02/03/let…

Job coaches in GP surgeries (or any health setting) is pathologising unemployment. Wait where are the critical profs?! Pathologisation is their thing no? Only diagnosis, gotcha. Funny how none have commented on the "over diagnosis" review, would have thought it was their dream

Motability cars are not 'free'. They are leased. That means you have to pay an often eye-watering deposit and a monthly amount. And the car is never 'yours'. It's lent. You should check the rules out before spouting bile directed rubbish, pet

Tory trio mislead party conference on disability benefits as they stir up hostility towards disabled claimants. They are truly despicable attacking the most vulnerable community as usual. disabilitynewsservice.com/tory-trio-misl… via Disability News Service

Or Government Subsidies. Or tax cuts for billionaires. Or bailouts for billionaires. Or basically it's only handouts if the recipients aren't rich.

How about they put that "billion pound" to actual use towards services like mental health & retraining doctors with new research that isn't back dated from 2000BC🙃👀 to maybe.. I dunno HELP people with disabilities?🤔 But of course, silly me, common sense doesn't apply here🥰

Another thing about the job vacancies in the UK… Most of them are either highly skilled jobs where you need extensive qualification and training… Or jobs such as retail, care work, etc… which aren’t suitable for many disabled people. You can’t just put anyone into any job
