At KU EP, our patients can now be treated with a first-of-its-kind EV-ICD Medtronic. By placing this in a 28 year-old patient with slow VTach, our dynamic EP team led by the fearless rhea pimentel became only the 2nd facility to perform this procedure in the mid-west. #EPeeps

Our second-year fellow, Ebube Ezeh, joined the Kansas Contingent at Capitol Hill for this year's #ACCLegConf They met with the members of Congress and House of Representatives who represent our state, advocating for team-based and equitable CV care for our patients.

Yesterday, we performed our 1500th Watchman implant The University of Kansas Health System, one of the few sites in the country, to reach this milestone. We were able to achieve this with excellent outcomes. I am really proud of the team for its commitment to patient care and quality. Prasad Gunasekaran
