@borisjohnson I found out the cost of my WW today - £200 per week per flat! As my neighbour below posts we have an NHS key worker on a Covid ward. Terrible. Shame on the Government for taking so long to help leaseholders #EndOurCladdingScandal

Here’s my 5 Live interview, please give @claddag a follow for more stories. I took on my flat in good faith. The industry who profited should be held accountable. #EndOurCladdingScandal

Rags Martel It’s super important that every impacted resident and wider public are aware that any additional funding announced tomorrow is not a generous act it is a half hearted acceptance of liability. Government created and sustained the ecosystem that caused the #BuildingSafetyCrisis

Today's £3.5bn means leaseholders with flats >18m will probably get cladding funding but will still have to pay £25k average each for structural issues like missing fire barriers /1

Here's a table from the inquiry showing Arconic made more than 20m Euros selling 650,000 square metres of the deadly cladding used on Grenfell into the UK market between 1998 and 2017. That's enough to fully cover 91 football pitches.

This is pretty extraordinary. Test reports shows Grenfell cladding burned 10 times more quickly, released seven times as much heat and three times as much smoke when bent into cassette shapes as opposed to a flat panel. Arconic's certificate drew no distinction between them.

Jenny Sutcliffe NHBC I bought my flat because it was supposedly a good quality development. It was supposed to be my safe haven. My security as I get older (and possibly sicker). Now I find it’s a death trap and was from the start. All the certificates worthless. I feel conned #BuildingSafetyCrisis

This is huge! Thanks to @MilesDilworth Mail+ for exposing this. Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Gov are holding innocent victims of the #BuildingSafetyCrisisUK to RANSOM, refusing to provide funding for #cladding remediation unless leaseholders can come up with billions for other fire safety issues.

Ask your MP to help leaseholders and make those responsible pay to fix unsafe buildings. #EndOurCladdingScandal endourcladdingscandal.eaction.org.uk/emailmp5

Today I publish my second story highlighting the chaos caused by the EWS system👇 Here is my story of a leaseholder who in the past year has... - Had three EWS checks -Received four EWS forms -Seen three flat sales fall through insidehousing.co.uk/news/ews-crisi…

#BuildingSafetyCrisis - I can’t think of another situation where the victims of systemic negligence and fraud are punished with bankruptcy and homelessness. Can anyone think of an example? Stephen Greenhalgh

Builders who installed deadly cladding on Grenfell Tower have given £2.5 million to the Tory party since the tragedy. £50k personally to Boris Johnson. This is bribery, no? thetimes.co.uk/article/builde…

So there it is. After our first batch of remediation works were completed this time last year, we've been told that we're still at a B2 rating. More remediation is needed and a second wave of costs coming our way. #EndOurCladdingScandal #tired

Four years on from the Grenfell Tower fire, today is a day for remembering those lost and that those they left behind are still waiting for the truth, justice and change they've been promised.

There's a lot going on in the world at the moment. But this week, the Grenfell Tower Inquiry took us a lot closer to the heart of the story about how the government failed to prevent the tragedy. My summary below: insidehousing.co.uk/insight/grenfe…
