It’s been a bleak week. But holding a copy of the Criterion Collection release of Guillermo del Toro’s THE SHAPE OF WATER, with my essay in it, has brought me immense joy and pride. Still can’t believe I’m so lucky to have my words on this marvel, but I’m so grateful for it. It’s out November 26.
