Good time to note that I'm more than halfway through Kyle Buchanan's terrific 'Blood, Sweat & Chrome,' and what a fantastic look at every aspect of a movie that seems impossible to exist based on what audience's got to see and everything that went into making it.

Cute video that also really illustrates the special skill it takes to look natural (or even placid) when dozens of terrifying photographers are screaming drill-sergeant instructions at you on the red carpet

as far as i can tell, this is the best way to experience the oscars...no personal stakes, already won huge awards at home, just here to support the gals and party, fun colleagues, everyone thinks you're super hot

No, Emma Stone was not expecting that win. John Horn ran into her in the lobby at the beginning of the show and asked if she had something prepared for later that night. She looked at him in disbelief and said, “Oh, I’m not winning.”

At the after-parties, many pundits said Lily Gladstone should've gone supporting. But there's more to a film career than winning an Oscar. By going lead, Lily told Hollywood to treat her like a lead. And she just booked another lead, which many supporting winners struggle to do.

The thing about the Oscars’ after party, the Governors Ball, is that it’s incredibly lavish. People are toting Oscars. You feel like you’re witnessing history. And every year, without fail, they will play “Moves Like Jagger” and Bruno Mars
