Remember, D for Dead. As in, dopamine in sepsis is dead (and so could your patient if you continue to use it). Recent literature and guidelines support norepi as 1st-line pressor for septic shock. Compared w/ norepi, dopamine is a/w incr risk of arrhythmias and mortality! #sepsis
