.Rabbi David N. Saperstein: “Mr. Benjamin Ferencz (legacy) is a beloved member of the human rights community. His willingness to speak truth to power is amazing. His contributions did not end, but only began with Nuremberg, and led to the establishment of the Int'l Criminal Court.” #AnneFrankAward

It was my profound honor to present the #AnneFrankAward to Benjamin Ferencz (legacy), the last living prosecutor from the Nuremberg Trials & a pioneer of international law. Wonderful to be with Dutch Amb. @henneschuwer, Int'l Criminal Court Pres. Chile Eboe-Osuji, and Mohammad Al abdallah as well today.

This Human Rights Watch Report underscores, once again, the growing repression of the #Uighur community. On #YomHaShoah, we keenly remember the terrible suffering inflicted on people because of their identity, when good people stand by idly. China must change its policy. Now.

The VP-elect put it perfectly. Having seen Neera Tanden🌻 over the years - her brilliance, her experience on such a broad range of issues, her tenacity and integrity, Neera will be a superb OMB director.

I am proud to support my good friend Rashad Hussain for IRF ambassador. Rashad is a superb nominee, bringing un-paralleled policy knowledge, credibility across diverse faith communities, and strong diplomatic experience. Read my op-ed with Robert P. George washingtonpost.com/religion/confi…

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that Rabbi Lynne Landsberg - one of the most influential and beloved Jewish social justice advocates, a champion for #disabilityrights, and a dear member of the RAC family- has passed away. May her memory be for a blessing.

Imam Magid and I walking through sprawling refugee camp, among those sheltering hundreds of thousands in Bangladesh. Horrifying stories of brutality; heroic stories of survival; inspiring stories of hope.
