Racism in Canada: In 1993, a 15-year-old black boy came to the aid of his cousin who was being arrested on the corner of Uniacke Square in Halifax. From his account, he stopped his bike "too close" to the officer, was dragged off his bike and arrested for assault.

The killing of George Floyd is another tragedy. In both Canada & the US, Black people are disproportionality affected by injustice & state-sanctioned violence. Enough is enough. We must do better. All forms of Anti-Black racism must be rejected & eradicated.
