Do you think it's possible to fully explain the quantum strategy for the CHSH game to non-specialists, without using any formal math notation?

I am urging the entire TCS community to attend the TCS for All inspiration talk to be given by Luca Trevisan to honor his contributions and to be there for him and his family at this very difficult time. I will be sharing the registration link shortly. Registration will be free.

If you'd asked us a year ago we would never have thought it possible to explain the CHSH game and quantum winning strategy without going through all the math. We were wrong. Here are the kits we made for Julia Kempe to test SigmaCamp this summer

⚛️Simon Apers et Sophie Laplante, chercheurs à l'IRIF, tous deux spécialisés dans l'informatique quantique, ont participé à ce numéro spécial pour parler notamment d'algorithmique #quantique !

Maybe every maths classroom should have a box of mathematical toys & at the start of each lesson a toy's picked out & played with & discussed for five minutes before everyone returns to fractions & trigonometry. Might also work for company meeting rooms. Meanwhile, Sam Howison.

What aspects of quantum computing can be illustrated with sound or music? We like to explain Deutch's algorithm with audio phase inversion to isolate audio tracks. How far can we push this idea? Grover search? Amplitude amplification? Quantum Fourier transform? Period-finding?
