New paper out from a team of QMATH members: arxiv.org/abs/2307.07394 on a resource theory of tensor networks. The paper explores connections between the search for faster matrix multiplication algorithms and tensor networks which use multipartite entanglement.

A new preprint "More Quantum Chemistry with Fewer Qubits" from researchers at QMATH and ETH arxiv.org/abs/2308.16873 shows how to combine perturbation theory with quantum algorithms for quantum chemistry problems, improving accuracy without increasing the number of qubits needed.
