It was great talking to residents of Plaistow West and Canning Town East this afternoon on the #LabourDoorstep about the local area. Lots of support for Labour🌹, especially from the feline community. Also, thanks to Heather for helping us on the doorstep.

Dina Hossain and I had a very productive meeting with residents in Plaistow West and Canning Town East regarding their concerns about a local community garden and the positive impact of green spaces in the area.

A big thank you to Newham's Street Scene Team for responding to my request for a deep clean of the pavement along Balaam Street. A quick response that has made Balaam Street a much more pleasant place.

As a mark of respect, following the death of Neil Wilson, all campaigning across Newham this weekend will be paused. Giving us all time to reflect on and remember a loved and respected colleague and friend. Thanks to the opposition groups for working with us to agree this.
