Robert Hills presents meta-analysis of 3 studies of > 1000 patients on immediate vs delayed surgery for early stage breast cancer. Immediate surgery reduces local recurrence & distant recurrence though occurs over longer follow up. Also reduced breast cancer mortality #SABCS24

.Ada Waks presents RCT TBCRC052/MARGOT at #SABCS24 showing margetuximab (TMP) no statistically sig improved pCR rate vs THP for mostly cT2N0 disease though 10% higher numerically. Did not differ by HR status. Both well tolerated regimens Dana-Farber’s Breast Oncology Center

.Mafalda Oliveira presents SOLTI VALENTINE: neoadj randomized study of HER3-DXd, an ADC, in high-risk early stage HR+ breast cancer - comparable pCR rate to chemo however still low rates of pCR #SABCS24

Intriguing results from the #neoHIP randomized phase 2 trial presented by Heather McArthur, MD, MPH, FASCO. The addition of pembro to neoadjuvant THP for stage II-III HER2+ BC improved pCR rate (delta 18%) with no new safety signals. Looking forward to seeing the impact of these results on EFS. #bcsm
