A historic pub in north #London, the Ye Olde Swiss Cottage, owned by Samuel Smith, is racing to find a buyer after it was put up for sale following its sudden closure. 🙈 standard.co.uk/news/london/sw…

Apparently the end is finally in sight for the scaffolding which has partly obscured the Red Lion on Crown Passage in St. James's for over two years. Some of it may even be coming down this week, and the rest of it should be gone before Christmas. Still love this pub either way!

We present the highest-rated "pub" in England. The 2026 RV is £1,300,000, up from the 2021 RV of £670,000. Its probably the largest increase for any single pub too and its not even in London. Oh it's the only pub in Eng/Wal with an RV of over £1m the 2nd highest is £365000 lower!
