In commemoration of the International Youth Day, on Saturday, I shared insights on sustainable production and consumption with my fellow youths in Kibera. Thereafter, we all engaged in a community clean up exercise near Olympic Primary School.

Yesterday, we participated in the National-Level Multi-Stakeholder Workshop under the SUSTFARM+ project, focused on strengthenening capacity to address gender dynamics in food systems, promote gender equity and sustainable practices in Kakamega, Bungoma, and Siaya counties.

This 3-day activity, organised by YouthConnekt Africa Hub and Mastercard Foundation, aims to engage youth in finding solutions to challenges they face and invites them to identify concrete actions they would recommend to various actors. #PolicyHackathon #YouthConnektAfrica

We recently conducted a review of our ongoing Project Tukuze Shambani in Mathare, where we are assisting local households cultivate vegetables through hydroponics and other agroecology techniques. This project plays a significant role in restoration and boosting food security.
