Maybe I am missing something with the YouTube API, but it appears you can not retrieve livestream messages from their API at a rate faster than like every 30 seconds. Otherwise, you get quote limited and have to pay. Such an awful system compared to any other streaming service.

Its weird that something similar happened to me too. Went to Japan for a summer and happened to find a random restaurant in the middle of nowhere, in the mountains. Chef literally ate with us and I left after hours with a Guitar he gave me. I miss Japan.
