PSA: Viral RNA does not equal infectious virions. I'm looking at media who talked about virus detected on surfaces for weeks. Perhaps we have become too enslaved to molecular techniques at the expense of basic biology. I haven't heard one mention of plaques in two months!

The two biggest challenges to #RadEd over past 20 years have become institutionalized in academic medicine, but their rise was so gradual that most don’t see them as barriers. So why are they a problem? Because they separate academic radiologists from their residents.

Every day we wait to get them done, billions are wasted, millions lose their livelihoods, and the downturn will be harder. Implement these measures now, open areas that are safe to open now, & rush to get the rest opened as fast as we can while keeping the epidemic under control

It's time to let those who want to work get back to work. Restaurants, salons, and other places remain shuttered. Business owners have a right to operate, and workers have a right to earn for their families. They can reopen safely if rules are followed. #ReopenAlabamaResponsibly

Wow. Somebody on Team Apocalypse finally said it. “All the early national experts, here’s my projection, here’s my projection model, they were all wrong, they were all wrong.” And that somebody was... @nygovcuomo. Was there truth serum in his coffee today? google.com/amp/s/www.syra…

This is a lie. These numbers include positive test results that are from longer ago than just the last 3 weeks. This means our city is spreading disinformation as a way to continue to control our citizens & destroy our economy. Covid is not killing NOLA. You are, Mayor LaToya Cantrell.

Cases and hospitalizations continue to trend downward across the US ... but all #Covid19 is hyperlocal so check the trends in your state and county

At this point, we should all be celebrating the fact that the city of New Orleans successfully contained COVID. The data over the last few months has proven this fact. We should be focusing on safely reopening our economy and helping citizens rebuild their lives. It’s time.

Our daily update is published. States reported 716k tests and 42k cases, the lowest since early July. Some good news: Today's death count—426—is the lowest number for a Monday in 5 weeks.

Hey pre-meds and medical students! Wonder where your MCAT and ERAS fees are going? Don’t worry - they’re being put to good use! (*as political dark money contributions)

It’s time to let the good times roll in New Orleans once again. And if you have a problem with that idea, then you don’t truly comprehend the economic crises that our beautiful city is currently facing. NOLA is dying, and it’s no longer because of COVID-19.
