I would like to apologize to everyone because I have decided not to stay quiet about my politics any longer. I understand if you unfollow my accounts, however, I encourage you to stay and hear a different perspective. I promise not to abuse my privilege.

I believe that my Governor is wrong to point fingers at the FBI. Not sure what he would have them do. Florida has no Extreme Risk Protection Order (ERPO) statute. Not that it would have helped at Pulse. The real problem is that we sell assault weapons to civilians. Time to stop.

US had ban on assault weapons from '94-'04. It withstood court challenges for 10 years until politicians allowed it to sunset. Time to bring it back. The law exists, enact it.

Meeting with Trump = planted NRA hacks introduced by POTUS. Putting guns in schools is ridiculous, requiring schools to hire people with guns - give me a damn break. STOP requiring every citizen to be armed! We all don't want to work for the NRA.

We are going to put metal detectors in all our schools because NRA pays our politicians to allow them to see all the weapons possible. Everything is a soft target. Why do we have to live in a war zone? Reenact the assault weapons ban that was ended in 2004.

Florida's response to Parkland tragedy should not include an expansion of gun rights. More guns in schools is not the answer.
