Closing in on 7 months and 45 lbs, Keiko is turning out to be a fantastic farm dog, always excited to run the orchard with the ATV. Her buddy Roscoe is a great companion and gentleman farm dog, who is quite happy to supervise from the patio.

The last corner of "block y" mowed and prepped for planting #avocados. A pic of this spot was shared in full bloom of mustard a few weeks back. All that covercrop is now protecting the soil as a mulch.

Just about to start the season for the Lamb Hass #avocados: a late variety that is very much like Hass only larger. This one is about a pound.

Usually we harvest based on the calendar... knowing the dates at which #avocados will have reached maturity. But these Lamb Hass are looking good and with a potential wave of foreign fruit expected in mid July, we're sending some for testing to see if we can harvest earlier.

I wonder how many trees we've hauled with this truck over the years. Light work today, just 15 more Hass #avocados (+105 previously delivered. )
