8/ Maricopa County, AZ is another example of how % swing is different than vote swing: Phoenix swung *slightly* toward Trump, but it still added more votes to Ds than Rs As with a lot of election narratives, **MORE THAN ONE THING CAN BE TRUE AT THE SAME TIME**

once again we see who the cops consider citizens worthy of respect and who they see as subjects to be controlled and pacified

I am so excited to see this piece in print! Thanks so much to Nev Jones PhD and my other collaborators for involving me. Many of you know that I have a psych disability--this offers a new take on why we need people like us doing mental health research and how we can promote it.
