So to recap the last few days, B1617.2 is now called Delta. It’s 60% more transmissible than Alpha (B117). Cases are 2.6x more likely to be hospitalized than with Alpha. Efficacy of 1 dose against it is decreased to about 30%. Efficacy of 2 doses seems to be maintained.
