A good day in the field, racing a thunderstorm out of Jim Canyon near Grand Junction

A bit windy in the field yesterday.

Just finished a week of teaching the Grand Canyon region stratigraphy and paleoenvoronmental evolution to sphomore high school students from Geoforce, San Antonio. GREAT students, GREAT trip! Aztec Sandstone, Jurassic aeolian dunes, Valley of Fire State Park, Nevada.

Trump now claims he misspoke, that he meant to say he sees no reason it "wouldn't" be Russia when he meant "would" be Russia. He also meant to say he fired Comey over "rushing things" not "the Russia thing" and that Mexicans are "rap artists" not "rapists."

Man this is hilarious...
