There is a new cohort of founders, especially in “deep tech”, that think “hype” is what they need to deliver to raise more capital. The “hype” investors are at fault. You need real tech, real customers, and real traction. The rest is all noise.

EU has lost the way. You can’t have solidarity with terrorists who kill their own people. People in Iran are celebrating the helicopter crash while EU is in “solidarity”. Janez should resign. What an embarrassment.

It’s important to pair your founder optimism with a good dosage of realism and skepticism. Too much optimism can blind you into driving the company into the wall and too much skepticism is recipe for mediocrity and stagnation. The perfect balance differentiates great founders.
