Ed Davey is really on a roll. We need more of this. He's always excellent in HoC but most people don't get to hear him. We need more of this on our media 👍👏

Listening to Christ Church Oxford doing Walton’s Jubilate with brass and percussion etc. is anyone else rather wishing that we could just leave these pieces as originally intended? Overblown, outsize for their intended location and bombastic in a way which was never intended. 🙁

Matthew Rose Sam Jackson Dr David Vernon BBC Radio 3 ...which is why we get uninformed presenters from other TV genres, guests just gushing, and the constant "this is AMAZING!!!" guff that cheapens the music and patronises the performers. I've always felt that taking it seriously - as they do on MOTD - would make it successful.

4 minutes of brilliance from Piers Morgan, dismantling yet more nonsense about Gaza. Whatever your view of him, you’re missing out if you don’t watch it. Everyone should watch it and draw their own conclusions about this shameful period in world history.

Paul Spicer Paul McCreesh Dr Jonathan Clinch That’s terribly sad that he said that, Paul. I was lucky enough to meet him when he came to Rob Spearing’s setting of Death shall have no Dominion with the Purcell School where I was studying. I was so tongue tied and didn’t even know about the Oboe Sonata then!

These puppies were just 4 weeks old when they were found being sold at a car boot sale, far too young to be taken from their mum. We need your help to raise awareness, push for stronger breeding laws, and protect dogs from suffering 🐾
