Mesmerising choral evensong at Brecon Cathedral this evening. Thanks to the choir (choristers were amazing), musicians, conductor. Lots of hard work, commitment and leadership. A good congregation as well. Thank you team Cathedral.

30 years ago this week, SS Peter and Paul-tide, I was ordained priest. Thank you to the people and places who have shaped who I am today.

I’m two years from retirement. CoE withdrawing from property market in Wales due to Welsh landlord/tenant legislation. CiW provision means they take all pension lump sum and savings to put into property. It’s a nightmare for our generation of retiring priests.

Introverts be literally going through it all and still be smiling like nothing happened. The way they have mastered hiding emotions is scary. You may think you know what's up with them. Bruh trust me, you know nothing.

The church doesn't need to include women, disabled people, queer people, Black people, materially poorer people, or any other groups it intentionally or unintentionally excludes. The church needs to recognise that without them, there is no church at all.

I was told today that the Dean of Brecon is taking his privacy and introversion to a whole new level. The cheek. Funny though.
