“SecurityWeek has not seen any known ransomware group taking credit for the attack on Bouygues.” Ransomware wasn’t involved, which may explain why no ransomware group has claimed responsibility.

I’ve been a customer for 20+ years and can testify to the fact that their support staff are brilliant. That can only mean they have a great environment for their people. The founder is a little strange though. 😂

Answer: Phishing. I was first impersonated at AOL in 1997, and it’s still the same today. It’s almost always a dangerous link. And it’ll continue to plague society until everyone, including Google, move to a Zero Trust strategy for URLs. linkedin.com/pulse/phishing…

Yes, we know, every year since 2016 has been recorded the worst year on record it’s for phishing. Phishing works because today’s security treats every new dangerous link as safe until someone falls for it. Zero Trust for URLs is the only effective strategy.

Companies that sell “awareness training” create new jargon so they can sell more training. It’s that simple. Phishing = the impersonation of a trusted organization or person on the internet. That’s it. Smishing and vishing are just different terms for phishing.

Pretty sure their money could be better spent than in Twitter ads. Wondering if anyone has ever seen an ad like this and thought “I’m gonna put my butts in the bin from now on”
