The only warming shelter in Licking County that will be open as of now will be at the Disciple Factory 50 S 30th St Newark Oh 43055 (formerly Cox United Methodist). It will be open from 5 pm Tuesday night to 9 am Weds morning and will be serving dinner and breakfast.

The warming shelter needs Volunteers / People to Transport/ food and drinks. If you’d like to volunteer, text message Pastor Critter at 614-905-5280 or Jason at 740-404-2045. They do have plenty of blankets / coats / hats and gloves.

The Licking Co. Emergency Warming Center Task Force announced the opening of a warming center Friday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 592 W. Main St., Newark, from 5:30 p.m. until 8 a.m. Temperatures are forecast for 11 degrees on Friday and 10 degrees on Saturday. #nanow
