Our first iOS 16 beta with lock screen widgets is now available via TestFlight. Please note that this is an early beta, so take it easy :) parcel.app/beta

We are building a list of possible Siri commands to track an existing delivery. If you had a delivery called “MacBook”, how would you ask Siri to show its current status? The command should include the app name (Parcel). Please reply in all languages that you can speak 😉 Thanks!

To be clear, this is needed to improve support for Siri in iOS 16.

A basic example would be something like “Hey Siri, track MacBook in Parcel” but please write whatever comes to your mind first 🙂

I am keeping refining lock screen widgets for iOS 16 both for Parcel and Debit & Credit. With Parcel, the day dounter is now available only as a separate widget to allow the bigger rectangular widget fit more text. Debit & Credit will get more relevant icons for budgets.

A small preview of upcoming Siri support in Parcel in iOS 16: ✅ you can use multiple phrases to ask Siri ✅ no setup needed ❌ you need to use full delivery name in a Siri command which is nearly impossible with Amazon deliveries that have long descriptions

If you are on macOS Ventura and you can’t install a TestFlight beta for either Parcel or Debit & Credit - this is “normal”, there is a bug in Ventura that prevents TestFlight from working. Apple is aware of this bug and hopefully will fix it.

Old or new icon?

In case anybody uses Parcel and missed the memo: You can put your Apple Store order number (and Apple ID), and it will be able to track its progress from there

iOS 16 is coming later today and Parcel is already updated with lock screen widgets and new complications for Apple Watch 🎉 🥳

I am very pleased to introduce Siri support in Parcel! You can ask Siri to track your active or recently completed deliveries. Just say “Track parcel Macbook” or “Where is my MacBook parcel?”. Full list of phrases for all languages: parcel.app/help/siri.html

Many users have asked me if I have plans to add support for Live Activities. I WOULD LOVE to offer live activities in Parcel but there is nothing “live” that I can provide. Carriers don’t offer live location updates. Adding it just for the sake of it is not an option.
