Today the Overland Park Police welcomed our newest Crime Analyst Morgan VanSlyke and Dispatcher Alexandra Hamilton-Jurani. Morgan is a Olathe South HS and University of Nebraska at Omaha grad and Alexandra was previously a dispatcher at the Linn County Kansas Sheriff's Office.

Today Overland Park Police welcomed 8 new officers. Ashton Griffith, Haley Smallwood, Estuardo Gordillo, Benjamin Rehagen, Dillon Harris, Austin Bright, Timothy Davolt, and Jeremy Claude.

Our Overland Park Police Special Olympics Torch Run participants were awesome! As for me, I get tired jogging my memory.

Just handled a call on 99th Terr. Homeowner thought it was an attempted burglary, however, it was clearly apparent the garage door tracks were loose. No sign of forced entry attempts
