The power of one share using FAANG. 1 share of Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, and Google in 2012 would have cost you $1,365. Today those shares would be worth $12,130.

Are these returns likely to repeat? No, this was a 10-year bull market. But in the right conditions, even small investments can grow substantially.

If you’ve ever muttered to yourself “Damn seriously loss again?” while glancing at your P/L, know that you’re not alone. But there’s something that sets profitable investors apart from the rest

I can’t count how many times “the hustle” has been pedestalized all over social media. “Sleep 4 hours a day” “If you’re not sleeping you’re working” Etc, etc, etc. But life is much more nuanced than that. Hard work builds wealth while proper investing sustains it.

Most investors are always looking for the next, big trade. They’re charting, analyzing financial statements from who knows when, and placing more call orders than a Chinese restaurant in the middle of Brooklyn. And 80-99% of these people fail.

Really good investors are patient. Planning their move for months or even years while the execution takes seconds. Until then, not a single trade is placed.

This is a lot harder than it sounds and that’s EXACTLY why the average investor doesn’t do it. Hustle culture tricks us into thinking we’re “lazy” if we’re not constantly moving, constantly hustling, completely forgetting if what we’re doing is actually getting us results.

However, there is a happy medium. A place in which you can be lazy yet still profit. A place where you won’t have to dedicate your finite time for a return on your money. That happy medium lies in long-term investing.

You don't have to be rich. You don't have to be a genius. You don't have to have a degree. You don't have to be good at math. You don't have to come from wealth. Investing is for everyone.
