Started a new job this week as an assistant professor Purdue EAPS 🚂🌽 The fullest circle from Center Grove, IN to Brown, WashU, Carnegie, NASA, and now back to my home state. I am thrilled to give back to our community and build our geoscience strengths! youtube.com/watch?v=aD-LpR…

Beyond lucky to be doing what I love for a living and to be doing it for NASA Goddard ! Thanks for the feautre NASA Astrobiology: Exploring Life in the Universe

It's official: making my next giant leap to Purdue University as an assistant professor in the Dept. of Earth, Atmospheric, & Planetary Sciences! To all the students/mentors who said I should be a professor: hope to make you proud 👨🏼🏫🌒🌋 Boiler Up! Purdue University Purdue EAPS

🚨 New paper alert 🚨 Kris Laferriere of Purdue EAPS surveyed the troughs at Mars' north pole, mapping the entire 3D radar volume for subsurface records of troughs' past locations! The migration of these features informs us of ice mass balance over time. doi.org/10.1029/2023JE…

NASA's Johnson Space Center hxxfrd Prissel collected samples, too, but with a different science question in mind. Novarupta’s chemistry is partly a result of Earth’s plate tectonics. The Moon has volcanic landscapes with similar chemistry, but no plate tectonics. So, what else could explain the parallel?

One of our newest faculty, Tabb Prissel, took part in a NASA Expeditions to the "Valley of 10,000 Smokes." Check it out! #thenextgiantleap Tabb °C Prissel, PhD

After extensive review by experts across the agency, NASA's Boeing Space Crew Flight Test will return with an uncrewed #Starliner. Astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams are scheduled to return to Earth next spring aboard #Crew9: go.nasa.gov/3WYxWQ7

Purdue’s researchers rank among the most elite of extraterrestrial exploration. Included in this space research roundup are Purdue EAPS faculty Ali Bramson, Alexandria Johnson, Brandon Johnson and Briony Horgan. purduesci.com/4cBHw1f Dr. Ali Bramson Prof. Briony Horgan Alexandria Johnson
