OWRB staff collected Redfin Darters in the James Fork river in eastern OK. These fish and several others found at the site indicate good water quality. Fish, macroinvertebrates, and water sample analyses are used by the OWRB to determine the health of OK streams.

It may seem like we've had enough rain to pull us out of drought, but almost 77% of the state is still abnormally dry or worse with 36% in moderate drought or worse. Visit drought.ok.gov for more drought links.

A year ago, we were dealing with the DRIEST last 30 days in the last 100 years. Quite a change, no? Northeastern and southwestern OK are still unusually dry, however. #okwx # okmesonet
