Codex began a few years ago for multiplexed antibody histology-now it adds simultaneous RNA/protein detection for imaging cancer, immune, & other tissues. Add in probabilistic inference such as MAXFUSE & Mario & you can overlay single cell RNAseq & ATAC for deeper insights.

This is the first peer reviewed publication to demonstrate over 100 proteins measured across an entire FFPE tissue section at single cell resolution. The analysis was conducted using a panel of 100+ biomarkers to measure key cancer hallmarks of tumor and immune biology.
