6/3/2025: Thunderstorms E of Florida and in the Bahamas will spread N over the next couple of days, when non-tropical low pressure may form. There's a 10% chance this low acquires subtropical or tropical characteristics. Regardless, locally strong winds/rough seas possible.

Fresh to strong trade winds along with moderate to rough seas will continue at the Gulf of #Honduras and central Caribbean Sea through this weekend. Local fishermen and #boat operators need to plan accordingly and have floatation devices and emergency beacons onboard.

A ridge of high pressure continues to dominate the Atlantic this weekend, leading to mostly quiet weather across the basin. Saharan dust is still visible to around 35W, but the plume is becoming less concentrated. Tropical cyclone development is not expected over the next week.

A Gale Warning is in effect for a low pressure system off the coast of southern Mexico and very rough seas will occur near the strongest winds. There is a high (90%) of tropical formation within the next 7 days. A second system to the SW also has a high (80%) chance of formation.
