Keeping yourself in a place of grace is a discipline. It doesn’t come easy and it’s not instinctive, at least for me. I found a version of this earlier today. It inspired me afresh.

This remarkable video from @mommy.snippets demonstrates the impact on gait difficulties experienced during an “off” time in Parkinson’s. Many of us can walk backwards due to it not being an “automatic” movement. However walking forwards can be come progressively difficult.

Exactly this. We denigrate millions of people who don’t agree. In the most vitriolic terms. Instead listen. They aren’t all ignorant or stupid. I’ve long said that the left don’t listen or engage with the very real fears and pain of ordinary people anymore. This is what happens.
