We're 9 weeks in. It's already been an incredible journey of learning and loving. I'm so grateful for our little boy, I want to keep notes and share my experiences and what I've learned and am learning.

I have been reading the Read-Aloud Handbook based on the recommendation of Joshua Sheats in his great episode on teaching very young children words. Since our boy was born I’ve been reading him The Hobbit and playing Shelby Foote’s Civil War on audible.

Last night we finished The Hobbit, our first book together. A wonderful adventure to start a wonderful adventure.
