"Deny, deny, deny. That's how you hit your numbers." Read ProPublica's seminal series on how insurance giants like United and Cigna systematically, cruelly—and very, very profitably—deny health coverage every day, at the expense of patients' lives. propublica.org/series/uncover…

There is no chance Trump did any more vetting of Hegseth than "He's a good-looking, square-jawed veteran who's good on TV and rabidly supports me. He's hired."

Bad Medical Takes One thing I loved about nursing school is that there weren’t exemptions from this. Everyone got vaccinated and that was the end of it. If you are against vaccines which are vital to public health, don’t bother becoming a nurse

If you still don’t believe in olfactory messaging, please read this advertisement for Trump’s new cologne ‘Fight Fight Fight’ and tell me what it actually smells like.

What happened in this interview begs the question: why and how do serious media outlets allow themselves to become platforms for propaganda to a large national audience? And why do they keep doing so again and again? 3/

Oh wow the founder of Amazon wants to get rid of the public postal service? You don't say. Is this what it looks like to "Drain the Swamp?"

Mallory McMorrow (@mallorymcmorrow) 's Twitter Profile Photo

MI.SmartAss USPS doesn't decide what mail to bring. You getting junk mail is an issue with the sender not the carrier. The USPS is the only entity required to deliver to mail to every address, no matter how rural/weather etc. FedEx/Amazon use them for addresses they don't want to deliver to.

Vaccines do not cause autism and this has been proven over and over and over again. One fake study by a now former physician with manipulated data is not going to ever change this fact. Vaccines do not cause autism.

If you didn't know, part of the reason the postal service exists is to protect citizens' privacy since prior to the postal service, private companies were found to read citizens' mail. This is a very transparent effort to enact a more comprehensive surveillance state.

As always, the GOP plan is to tell you govt doesn't work; then break govt so it can't work; then say, "See, told you govt doesn't work!"; and then privatize it so the donor class can reap the profits. Same playbook, every time.

the USPS does not “lose taxpayer dollars” but even if it did so what! y’all don’t want to pay taxes to feed kids, don’t want to pay taxes so people can have medicine, don’t want to pay taxes for functioning mail service. what the fuck do y’all actually want your taxes to do?!
