Ballast Hills was the primary non-conformist burial ground for Newcastle from the early 1600s until 1853. To provide recognition for those buried there and to reconnect the community with its history is the mission of Myra Giesen. How do you feel about and use burial spaces?

This Half Term, Karbon Homes are again giving support to local organisations to provide xtra food for the community. We all meet regularly at the Byker Children and Young People's Partnership. Together we're trying to beat holiday hunger on the estate.
